Training at Little Haven is carried out by Kathryn May who is a Reiki Master - Teacher  member of the UK Reiki Federation. Kath is a qualified teacher in adult education  and her background includes anatomy, physiology, massage  kinesiology & has 12 years experience in teaching the Usui form of Reiki. 

Reiki training is carried out at Little Haven, in courses to suit the individual, i.e.. One-one training or in small groups. Training in Reiki is offered at all levels in a calm relaxed atmosphere. Following training, Reiki sharing meetings are held monthly and support is on-going for those who wish.

There are 3 levels of Reiki training, as follows :- Level 1. This is arranged to suit the individual, and can be carried out in one day on a 1 -1 basis. The principles & background of Reiki & some understanding of how the energy flows through the Chakras   & Meridians via the Aura is covered, along with the Level 1 attunement to the Reiki . Training includes practical experience of giving & receiving a Reiki treatment. The person will then be able to treat themselves & offer healing to friends, family & animals. 

Level 2 . During second level training, the special Reiki symbols are taught, along with techniques which can help to  heal mental/emotional conditions. The distance symbol & it's many uses are also explained. There are case studies to be completed with this level, after which, the person will be able to use the symbols & gain the experience required to move on to the next Level.

Level 3. This is the level where the person is attuned to the Master symbol, working with Reiki at this level, helps the person to move on to their own path of development, gaining experience & expertise. It is then up to the person to take responsibility & practise Reiki with the Integrity that qualifies them to work as a Master-Practitioner. A person can then choose to progress to learn how to attune others & become a Master-Teacher if desired.
